Jordan 11 Retro Low
This Jordan 11 Retro Low incorporates a heritage tone that has seen it nicknamed Infrared. Like other AJ11s, its outsole is partially see-through, revealing the carbon fiber plate placed between it and the midsole. This lightweight shank is decorated in a pair of charcoal tones that create a herringbone pattern across its surface, and a dark gray Jumpman is outlined in its center. Set into the forefoot and heel of the outsole are opaque sections in Infrared 23, the appealing red tone moving across the herringbone grip lines etched into each one. Layered atop this is a white midsole made from plush Phylon foam and filled with a full-length pocket of Nike Air for the highest levels of comfort.
The patent leather mudguard that encircles the bottom half of the upper is shaded black, its lustrous surface shining and glittering as the light moves across it. A tough black ballistic mesh then covers the top part of the upper, encompassing the quarter and the tongue as well. The Air Jordan 11’s famous webbed lacing system is also black, as is the shoe’s padded interior. An Infrared 23 Jumpman emblem shows up on the insole, setting the tone for the other logos dotted throughout the upper. The next resides on the Pure Platinum patch in the center of the tongue. Either side of it are the words “Jordan” and “Jumpman” in stylised black lettering.
Two more Infrared 23 Jumpman logos have been placed in different locations on the rest of the sneaker. One has been woven into the patch on the underside of the tongue, and another embroidered into the Pure Platinum leather of the heel overlay, the light red thread used to craft it providing a compelling tonal contrast against its light gray background. Black specks are flecked through its surface, forging an eye-catching image around the back of the shoe. A final hint of Infrared 23 can be found on the heel tab, where the traditional 23 branding exhibits the iconic shade of red to conclude this bold Jordan 11 low-top.
