Nike Air Force 1 '07

This Nike Air Force 1 ‘07 celebrates 40 years of the AF1 with a colorful design. A tan hue covers the grippy circles that form the outsole, as well as the lugs around its edges and the stars embossed onto its heel and toe. When it reaches the midsole, the color shifts to a sandy tone. The comfortable Air pocket concealed within its heel is emphasized not only by the Air text emerging from its lateral side, but also by the thick black letters that repeat the same word over the top of it.

Meanwhile, on the upper, Pink Foam leather fills out the forefoot mudguard, toe box, midfoot panels, eyestay and rear overlay. Ventilation holes arranged in lines across the toe box add breathability, and off-white laces tie the shoe together. More off-white tones decorate the tongue, which has a patch sewn with black Nike Air branding above the words “Anniversary Edition” in a creamy, cursive script.

Fuzzy off-white material softens things up around the ankle, and the mesh insoles feature a pair of compelling adornments in a range of tones. Firstly, the left foot has a University Red swoosh with a Hyper Royal shadow. Then, the right foot has the words “Feel Free, Let’s Talk”, the first two appearing in a bold green hue atop a golden yellow frame, and the second duo Hyper Royal on University Red. These four colors come together to bring a striking look to the outer as well, combining on the “Feel Free, Let’s Talk” text on the lateral heel of each foot. On the left, “Feel Free” is green on yellow, and “Let’s Talk” is blue on red, while the opposite is true of the right foot.

The double-layered swooshes that adorn the flanks are also decorated with these tones, each one using them in a different order. The lateral side of the left sneaker exhibits Hyper Royal on University Red, with the colors reversed on the medial side. The lateral flank of the right sneaker displays green on yellow, and the reverse on the medial side once again. Alongside these bold logos, a gleaming silver heel panel highlights the rear of the foot. Its remarkably shiny surface contains black Nike Air text in block capitals to complete the design with an eye-catching sheen.
