Nike Air Force 1 '07 LX

This stylish Nike Air Force 1 ‘07 LX conceals a hidden surprise that brings it unexpected splashes of color in certain conditions. Elegant white covers the leather panels of the upper, including the smooth surface of the overlaid heel and forefoot sections, the eyestay, the midfoot and the toe box. Classic white swooshes appear on the flanks, where they stretch back over the sides of the heel overlay before disappearing underneath the panel at the rear. This heel tab is also white but has black Nike Air branding printed onto it. On the tongue patch, the same text occurs, only here it is accompanied by further Air Force 1 branding.

A vivid University Blue color coats the insole, and one last set of Nike Air lettering lies over it in black. This light blue tone reoccurs on the translucent lace dubrae, whose otherwise smooth surface has been etched with AF1 text. The theme of this feature continues on the outsole, which comes in University Blue rubber with a partially see through effect across its exterior. It still retains the grippy formations of circles that saw the AF1 become a renowned basketball shoe and supports an Air-cushioned midsole. This last section is white with Air lettering embossed onto its lateral heel.

Already an appealing sneaker, this design also comes with a University Blue swoosh-shaped keychain that can be used to add a flashy touch if desired. However, this is not the shoe’s most standout feature – its color-changing capabilities are. If this pair is taken out into the sunlight or put under black light, the upper completely changes its appearance as the photochromic inks infused into its surface come to life. These inks activate in such conditions, going from plain white to radiant purples, pastel blues and dynamic yellows, thus adding a colorful finish to this unique sneaker.
