Nike Air Force 1 Low Retro
"Triple White"
FN5924-100
The pristine white upper of this Nike Air Force 1 Low Retro creates a classic look. It was made to honor the color of the Month series of AF1 shoes that came out in the mid 80s, and as such it features many of the hallmarks of the designs from that time, including the pivot-circle grip patterns on its white outsole and the perforated lines that fan out across the toe box. It also forges its own distinctive appearance, starting from the translucent material that has been used to make the aforementioned outsole. This gives it a slightly glossy complexion, before the white midsole returns to a more heritage exterior of textured rubber and embossed Air lettering. Its interior contains a bouncy Air pocket, which works alongside foam cushioning to provide maximum comfort.
White panels overlay the forefoot and rear, and a wavy-edged white eyestay sits above midfoot panels marked with a pair of perforations for added breathability around the sides of the foot. In these sections, jeweled swooshes have been placed, their white surfaces exhibiting a slightly luminous aesthetic. These distinctive logos are quite short, but the swoosh sewn into the eyestay is large, filling up the whole curved toe end of this feature and lending it a bold look. The heel panel also contains enlarged Nike Air text, which has been embroidered into its surface in capital letters. More branding is sewn into the tongue label before a final set of Nike Air lettering stands out in a vivid white on the insole. The finishing touch on this sneaker is the accessory included with it – a classy white shoe brush with the words “Since 1982.” next to a swoosh in black to commemorate the decades-long history of the AF1.
