Nike Dunk Low LX

Refined materials give this Nike Dunk Low LX a classy look, while its light pastel hues add a fashionable aesthetic. Pink Foam is the first of these tones, appearing on the grippy rubber outsole. The range of traction patterns that have been cut into the surface of this last feature afford the wearer a confident step, and the Phantom midsole lends the shoe a padded softness via its foam cushioning. Meanwhile, the groove that circumnavigates the upper edge of the midsole brings an intriguing effect to the sole unit.

The upper makes use of similar colors, with a creamy hue acting as the base layer of the plush suede that covers its exterior. This appears through the toe box, whose lines of ventilation holes gently aerate the foot, the midfoot panels and around the back of the shoe. Here, parallel lines of stitching present a finely crafted look, and just above, the dual-layered heel panel brings extra depth to the design. Its lower layer, which can only be seen in a thin strip around its semi-circular edge, is also creamy white, and its top layer comes in an off-white tone known as Pure Platinum. This graceful color has a tinge of gray running through it, distinguishing it from the white Nike lettering embroidered into its surface.

The same dynamic layering effect features on the sidewall swooshes and the square patch sewn into the tongue, which itself contains a set of branding in white thread. Light tones fill out the inside of the shoe as Pink Foam covers the softly lined inner walls and the Nike text that has been printed upon the off-white insole. Back on the outer, the overlays are made of furry Pink Foam suede. This includes the forefoot mudguard, the eyestay, and the rear overlay, which begins on top of the uppermost part of the eyestay and slopes downwards, passing beneath the swooshes on each flank before encircling the bottom half of the heel. Holding all of this together are the black and white laces, whose energetic woven pattern concludes this elegant Dunk Low LX Pink Foam colorway.
