While these features appear on the upper, the sole unit is filled with hundreds of tiny specks that suggest the use of recycled materials. One of these is Nike Grind rubber, which has been added to the Blue Whisper outsole. More pale blue tones can be seen on the laces, which tie up over a white mesh tongue with a blue trim. This pastel hue extends to the mesh inner lining and the insole, which itself is adorned with Nike’s Move to Zero pinwheel logo in a darker blue known as Hyper Royal. Back on the outer, a glossy holographic material with lines of glimmering tones has been used on the heel panel, the tongue patch and the swooshes, bringing the sneaker a beautiful luster, as well as the nickname Hologram. The piece on the tongue has capitalized Nike text alongside a swoosh, and the heel tab simply contains debossed Nike lettering. Meanwhile, a line of white stitching passes over the center of the swoosh to add an intriguing detail to the flanks. When looked at from different angles, these eye-catching sections shift from blue through shades of turquoise and green, rounding out the design with a colorful sheen.
