Nike Dunk Low

The three complementary shades of pink found across this Nike Dunk Low have earned the Triple Pink colorway a fitting nickname – Barbie. Medium Soft Pink is the lightest of these tones and acts as the base for the other two. It fills out the midfoot and the toe box, as well as appearing in a narrow strip around the collar and heel. Delicate bands of stitching form lines across the segment between the rear overlay and the heel panel, both of which come in the next hue to decorate this sneaker – Pink Foam. In addition to these two leather overlays, this deeper pink appears on the eyestay and the forefoot mudguard.

Perforations in the toe box provide excellent ventilation over the front of the foot, while the soft mesh inner lining, which exhibits more Medium Soft Pink tones, ensures that the back of the foot has room to breathe. Meanwhile, over the top of the foot, Medium Soft Pink laces tie up over a tongue in the same color. Sewn into a label at the tongue’s top edge is a set of Nike text in the third and most radiant pink to be found on this design. Its name is Hyper Pink, and it accents the sneaker’s other branding elements, including the Nike lettering embroidered onto the heel panel, the text on the insole and the swooshes that reach down each of the shoe’s sidewalls to create a dynamic look.

Underfoot, the midsole is filled with comfortable foam cushioning for a soft step, while its exterior continues the color scheme of the upper in Medium Soft Pink. Below this, the rubber outsole switches once more to Pink Foam, producing a gentle contrast. Its surface is marked with grip patterns in various shapes, from the circles and straight lines under the forefoot to the quadrilateral lugs under the heel. All of this lends the shoe sturdy traction, before a final piece of Nike branding in the center of the outsole completes this graceful design.
