Nike Air Force 1 High x Supreme ‘World Famous’

The vibrant, dichromatic color scheme of this Nike Air Force 1 High x Supreme ‘World Famous’ sneaker makes it a highly desirable prospect. One of its tones is white, which completely covers the sole unit. This includes the rubber outsole, which has concentric circles radiating out across both its forefoot and heel. These two structures are connected below the arch of the foot by linear grip patterns, which themselves sit alongside a Nike embossed section. The edge of the outsole is then rounded off by lugs along the sides and star-shaped nodes on the toe and heel, offering the wearer all-round traction. An all-white midsole resides above this, its lateral heel marked by Air lettering that reveals the presence of the bouncy pocket of cushioning concealed inside it. This is surrounded by soft foam, for complete comfort from heel to toe. A thick embossed line then encircles the heel of the midsole and white stitching lines its upper edge.

Premium Varsity Red leather has been used to form the familiar panels of the AF1 across the upper, brightly distinguishing this particular iteration of Supreme’s stunning collaborative efforts as the Red colorway. A protective mudguard surrounds the toe box, which has a fan of perforations spreading out from the eyestay end towards the toe, bringing cooling ventilation to the front of the foot as they go. Two more perforations have been added to each of the midfoot panels, and larger holes have been formed asymmetrically up the sides of the eyestay to accommodate the red laces. The rear overlay then covers the whole back part of the shoe.

Stunning white branding decorates the heel of the sneaker, firstly in the form of exaggerated Supreme lettering that spans the back of the foot, where it is split by a band of red leather reaching up from the midsole. This last piece ends when it meets the heel tab, which itself is made of glossy Varsity Red leather. The number 94 is embroidered into the heel tab to celebrate the year Supreme was founded, and a brightly colored swoosh has been woven through its center. A red ankle strap threads beneath the heel tab, the words “World Famous” printed along it in more large white letters. It then wraps around the front of the collar, passing just below the white label sewn into the peak of the tongue. Black Nike Air and Air Force 1 text stands out upon the label, and an even more eye-catching effect is created by the red and white Supreme box logo placed along its lower edge.

The shoe’s inner maintains the vivid color scheme of the rest of the design, with Varsity Red covering both the lining and the insole. More dual branding appears in white upon this latter feature in the form of a Supreme logo and the Nike Air emblem. Back on the outer, a silver dubrae etched with AF-1 and Supreme text highlights the bottom of the laces, and white swooshes breeze elegantly down the flanks to complete this impressively colorful collaborative sneaker.
