Nike Air Force 1 Low x Supreme

The stealthy pattern decorating this Nike Air Force 1 Low x Supreme design has earned it the nickname Camo while at the same time lending it an eye-catching look. Its lightly toned sole unit comprises a gum brown outsole with concentric circles emanating across its forefoot and heel to create the silhouette’s classic grip patterns. These facilitate twisting and turning movements, and the lugs around the edges allow the wearer to plant the foot with confidence. Nike branding decorates the recessed area on the medial side of the midfoot, before star-shaped nodes round out the grippy feature as they line up on its toe and heel. The midsole, meanwhile, is completely white, including its textured surface, the Air lettering on its lateral heel, the thickly embossed line encircling the back of the foot and the stitching set in the groove circumnavigating its upper edge. Inside it, supportive Air cushioning is surrounded by foam padding to give excellent levels of comfort along the full length of the foot.

In contrast, the upper is made from durable canvas and covered in a camouflage graphic that melds rich tones such as Baroque Brown and Cargo Khaki with other shades of green and brown. This mix of hues gives the shoe an appealingly earthy aesthetic that moves through the underlayer of the toe box and midfoot panels, as well as the overlays on the forefoot, eyestay and heel. Metal ringlets bolster the eyelets to solidly accommodate the Cargo Khaki laces that tie the sneaker up. These are held in place at the bottom by a dark green lace dubrae etched with AF-1 and Supreme branding. At the top of the camo tongue, a contrastive white patch can be found. Woven through it are several pieces of text: a black Nike Air logo and Air Force 1 lettering, and the Supreme box logo in black and white.

While the camouflaged effect continues inside the shoe, blanketing its inner walls, the insole is bright red like Supreme’s famous logo. Dual branding has been printed onto the sockliner in white, thus honoring the strong partnership between the two companies. Returning to the outer, another Nike Air logo has been sewn into the heel panel using fine black thread. Three strips of material then emerge from beneath this camouflaged tab. One of them creates a neat seam down the center of the heel, while the other two reach down the flanks to form the shoe’s sidewall swooshes. Like the rest of the upper, these are covered in camo canvas, while a tag is attached to the tail of the lateral one, its red surface sporting white Supreme text in a striking representation of the brand’s box logo that completes the sneaker with a colorful flourish.
