Nike Air Force 1 Sculpt

The refined look of this Air Force 1 Sculpt is created by its uncomplicated appearance and luxurious detailing. Pale Vanilla starts things off on the outsole, where it blankets everything from the ringed tread formations to the lugs and the star-shaped grip patterns around its edges. The second component of the durable rubber cupsole is a white midsole filled with Air cushioning. Its lightly textured surface gives way to smooth raised Air lettering in the lateral heel, and a shallow groove skirts its top edge around the shoe’s entire circumference.

Meanwhile, white covers the majority of the tumbled leather panels that constitute the upper. The toe box has lines of small perforations fanning out from the end of the eyestay towards the front of the foot, and dual lines of stitching connect the forefoot overlay to the vamp. Further along the shoe’s flanks, the midfoot and rear sections are connected by a subtle seam with no overlay. Above this, the eyestay extends all the way up the high collar, which has been dropped slightly to make the sneaker easier to get on and off. Through this, Sail laces are threaded, and Pale Vanilla can be seen on the collar lining beneath. This soft padded material fills out the inner lining, providing plenty of comfort.

While the white lace dubrae has been indented with a swoosh, the design is marked by minimal branding. The white tongue patch and the Pale Vanilla suede heel panel are free from any text, as is the white mesh of the insole. Despite this, the classic swooshes remain on the flanks. These are sunken into the textured leather of the midfoot and rear panels, completing the sneaker with a further dash of Pale Vanilla.
